Sales Development Representative

Compensation: Competitive base salary + commission + health benefits

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Market Response Representative (MRR) you will be responsible for generating interest in Passageways by creating, contacting, and qualifying Marketing-generated leads using the industries best tools. Your goals are directly proportional to the goals of the Account Executive team, which you will be supporting through delivery of high-quality leads who are interested in further exploring our SaaS solutions. Customer Success Manager

Software Support Specialist:

The SOFTWARE SUPPORT SPECIALIST reports to the Technical Support Manager and provides tier-two level support for all Passageways’ products for customers and internal employees. This position involves troubleshooting product software and technical issues for existing customers, performing installations of products for new customers, and providing internal product support for Passageways’ employees as well. Attention to detail and professional communication skills are essential for employees in this position. Applicants must be willing to work different shift schedules and be available for 24x7 On Call. Passageways is a HIPPA compliant organization so applicants must also get certified training.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting software bugs and data-related issues for customers
  • Troubleshooting technical issues resulting from environmental issues (i.e. network, IIS, virus scanning etc.)
  • Respond to customer inquiries through the support ticketing system by email, chat, telephone, and meeting software for all products
  • Prioritize support cases and inform customers of ticket status, progress, timelines throughout the process of the ticket
  • Maintain and create articles to clearly communicate issues, steps to resolve, and tips for customers and internal agent use
  • Assist customers in understanding and training on new enhancements and features of the software
  • Assist in creating documentation to cover support topics, enhancement and version upgrade notices, and other customer related items

Principal Software Engineer:

The Principal Software Engineer will be responsible developing next-generation SaaS applications. The ideal candidate has a passion for building maintainable, scalable, and beautiful applications, with heavy emphasis on optimizing user experience, solving problems, and delighting customers and business stakeholders. The PSE must be able to break down complex problems, and design elegant, easy-to-maintain solutions that are resilient and robust. Must be comfortable working in an existing codebase and have the judgment to make necessary changes to existing code while managing risk. The PSE also has the responsibility to participate in system architecture and product design sessions and be able to provide meaningful insights to engineering, product managers, experience designers, and leadership and clearly communicate ideas to team members. The PSE will be responsible for mentoring the Senior Software Engineers of Passageways and will work directly with Senior Engineers to guide the technical direction of Passageways.

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years developing web applications with C# and ASP.NET MVC

Passageways is looking for a student or recent graduate intern who is interested in advancing their career in human resources management field. The candidate will be expected to work on a wide range of projects related to HR compliance, recruiting, employee onboarding/orientation, employee benefits and other programs. In this position, the intern will have opportunities to apply skills and knowledge acquired in school in a professional setting. The intern will gain a better understanding of the role that Human Resources can play in the software industry as well as SMB (small and middle size business) and be better prepared to work in the arena of human resources.

Primary Projects:

  1. Recruiting – 50% time

    - Help to develop recruiting and hiring process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting and/or coordinate phone and in-person interviews, support the management making job offers, support conducting background checks

    - Help to develop exit survey to improve employee retention and enhance the recruiting process

  2. Onboarding/Orientation – 20% time

    - Support to streamline onboarding process for each new hire from collecting necessary documents to providing the basic training to be a better Pathfinder

    - Help to develop training programs for a specific job function

  3. HR compliance – 5% time

    - Help the management review and update the HR documents, following federal and local laws and regulations

  4. Employee Benefits and other employee engagement programs – 10% time

    - Streamline the process of payroll, enrollment and termination of employee benefit programs such as health insurance and 401k, troubleshooting employee benefit issues

  5. Performance Management – 10% time

    - Review current performance management system and propose any modification or updates

Passageways is looking for a .Net Developer to design, modify, develop, write, and implement software applications and components. The position will provide support to an elite team of professionals building intuitive intranet software, developing the Passageways portal framework as well as improving and creating modules.

Essential Functions:

  • Custom .NET application development, as well as maintenance on existing applications.
  • Contribute to development team responsible for implementation of web, JavaScript and services applications. .Net framework, rich JavaScript application frameworks, and SQL Server technologies.
  • Design and create simple, maintainable code and comprehensive tests. 
  • Responsible for timely development and delivery of high-quality software in an Agile Scrum based environment.

You will need:

  • 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft .NET (JAVA experience is welcome)
  • Complex problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of object oriented design and patterns
  • Experience developing web applications
