Sales Development Representative

Compensation: Competitive base salary + commission + health benefits

Location: Downtown Lafayette, IN

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Market Response Representative (MRR) you will be responsible for generating interest in Passageways by creating, contacting, and qualifying Marketing-generated leads using the industries best tools. Your goals are directly proportional to the goals of the Account Executive team, which you will be supporting through delivery of high-quality leads who are interested in further exploring our SaaS solutions. The best way to be successful is by exhibiting a ferocious desire to learn, perform, and rise within the team.

Essential Functions

  • Exceed monthly/quarterly Sales Qualified Lead and Deals Sourced targets
  • Strategize with top-producing Account Executives and Sales Managers to improve performance and processes
  • Initiate conversations with potential client via phone and email outreach
  • Be an active member of the team by sharing learnings
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects

Professional Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience selling complex systems or products
  • Undergraduate degree (preferred)
  • Experience selling SaaS products (preferred)
  • Sold products/services such as: Cutco, Vector, printed adds, insurance, etc.
  • Salesforce.com and Google Apps (preferred)

.NET Developer:

Passageways is looking for a .Net Developer to design, modify, develop, write, and implement software applications and components. The position will provide support to an elite team of professionals building intuitive intranet software, developing the Passageways portal framework as well as improving and creating modules.

Essential Functions:

  • Custom .NET application development, as well as maintenance on existing applications.
  • Contribute to development team responsible for implementation of web, JavaScript and services applications. .Net framework, rich JavaScript application frameworks, and SQL Server technologies.
  • Design and create simple, maintainable code and comprehensive tests. 
  • Responsible for timely development and delivery of high-quality software in an Agile Scrum based environment.

You will need:

  • 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft .NET (JAVA experience is welcome)
  • Complex problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of object oriented design and patterns
  • Experience developing web applications
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Experienced in these technologies: ASP.NET, C#, SQL

You will need:

  • Practical experience load balancing large systems

  • Experienced in at least two of: ASP.NET, MVC 4, C#, SQL, No-Sql

Customer Engagement Manager

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with Passageways’ sales team to understand financial industry customer needs, to promote the sale of Passageways’ financial services industry portal solutions and board management solution and to provide technical support.
  • Promote and sell Passageways’ portal solutions products including OnBoard, multiplatform board portal software, OnSemble employee collaboration intranet, and OnTrack Vendor Management software, which products require extensive technical expertise to sell and support.
  • Plan with customers as to develop custom solutions on Passageways portal framework to meet their specific needs.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain Passageways products to customers and prospective customers.
  • Arrange for demonstrations or trial installations of Passageways solutions including OnSemble, employee collaboration software and OnBoard, multiplatform board portal software.
  • Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions.
  • Research and identify potential customers for OnBoard, board management solution and OnSemble, employee intranet solution, including design of lead generation programs, lead-nurturing programs, lead scoring, customer research, and automated communication programs. Maintain sales forecasting reports.
  • Provide information needed for the development of Passageways solutions
  • Facilitate business process reviews to identify requirements and processes from different Passageways teams and translate these requirements into salesforce.com design, leveraging best practices and minimizing the need for custom development.
  • Configure and administer Salesforce.com, and all applications which leverage the force.com ecosystem.
  • Generate and execute a Salesforce functionality roadmap, create dashboards, define workflows, implement validation rules, configure objects, generate reports, create documentation, technical requirements definition, testing scenarios, deployment / change management, training, and ensure adoption.
  • Build best-practice marketing automation programs within the Marketo platform
  • Create and maintain a marketing dashboard of key performance indicators that is automatically updated to reflect current marketing activity.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on performance of each and every campaign and communicate results to key stakeholders.
  • Manage Marketing calendar for the organization
  • Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments.
  • Telecommuting may be permitted after proven success while working one (1) year with the company.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business, Industrial Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related degree, plus four (4) years of relevant experience.
  • Coursework or experience should include business management/marketing as well as software engineering.
  • Three years of experience in Salesforce.com administration, sufficient for deep understanding.
  • Three years of experience managing data elements in Salesforce.com, extracting routine data, updating mass data pools using Data Loader, creating campaigns, creating reports, and analyzing data for management reporting.
  • Three years of development experience in Microsoft .Net C#.
  • Three years of development experience in Microsoft SQL Server database user interface and query software.
  • Two years of experience in marketing automation, workflow processes and systems within a marketing/sales cycle, sufficient to provide a strong understanding.
  • Two years of experience working with Marketo (marketing automation tool) for demand creation related activities.
  • Two years of experience in developing product collaterals (sales guide, product presentation, faqs etc) to drive sales enablement and demand generation for go-to-market strategy.
  • One year of experience in supporting the development of an international expansion program.
  • One year of experience in managing a marketing calendar using Brightpod or comparable software.
  • One year of experience with HTML.
