Strategic Alliance Manager, Collaboration Platforms

Description

Passageways is looking for a leader for its strategic alliances program, enabling our products to be discovered and offered by partners across the world. This is the first of several hires in this new team, Global Alliances Group, being planned for 2017.

Our team focuses on constant innovation, and this new position will be pushing the boundaries of what’s possible for our customers through close existing and new alliances.

We’re looking for a Strategic Alliance Manager. The candidate must be a dynamic leader and team player with a strategic mindset, outstanding initiative, business development experience and proven leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and trust. As the Strategic Alliance Manager, this role will support our Sales and Marketing teams which offer our On-prem and Cloud offerings for our clients.

As the Alliance Manager, this role will build and manage the development and support of strategic alliance relationships with global partners in each of these categories:

  • GoTo Market Partners including Referral, Reseller, VARs and Distributors
  • Endorsement Partners including Membership Organization Partners

 Reporting directly to our CEO, and working closely with key leaders across our company, this role will create and execute business strategies with these partners to expand our market reach, help us deliver innovative solutions and services to our customers, and achieve our corporate growth objectives.

Primary Duties:

 1. Partner Management: Strengthening our long-term relationships with our partners to help us differentiate our position in the market and with our customers. This includes overseeing conference sponsorship and attendance, creating our partner status (e.g. Premier, Gold), and building relationships with the partner technical and business development organizations. This includes understanding relevant information on partner company structures, hierarchies and political realities as well as their products and services, and understanding the market served by partners and corresponding competitive positioning to drive growth of our market-share. 25% 

2. Business Development: The Strategic Alliance Manager will work directly with Passageways leadership to drive sales of our solutions through partner networks. This role will also look for partner offerings that can be offered indirectly to our clients. The Strategic Alliance Manager will have a vision and passion for the partner offerings and how the offering can drive growth within our existing client and new customer base. The Strategic Alliance Manager will have a strong foundational technical knowledge for our products and key partner offerings to support customer conversations. The Strategic Alliance Manager will jointly work with our Sales and Marketing Groups to develop targeting plans, relevant sales offerings, sales collateral, use cases, supporting contract vehicles and other digital assets. 30%

3. Partner Education, Certifications and Training: Develop and maintain a comprehensive program for partner communication, education, certification and trainings. The Strategic Alliance Manager will be responsible for coordinating training, technical exchanges and ensuring that we continue to enhance partner’s skillsets, and our knowledge of the partner’s offerings and capabilities. The Strategic Alliance Manager would also create a partner solutions knowledge base with tailored offering playbooks for each partner that meet the mission needs of our customers. 20% 

4. Alliance Pipeline Management: The Strategic Alliance Manager will responsible for pipeline management for our selected strategic partners which includes working with their Sales Groups and collaborate to identify cross-opportunities in the pipeline. A critical responsibility of the Strategic Alliance Partner will be working with the partners to provide key support resources on proposal and opportunity development. As necessary, the Alliance Manager will create proposals, contracts, and negotiate contract relationships. The Alliance Manager will be required to report to and interact with senior management and executives to indicate the status of the partnership progress on an ongoing basis. 10%

5. Ecosystem Development: The Alliance Manager will be responsible for not only the relationship with the primary strategic vendors and but also work closely with the product managers on developing the eco-systems and marketplaces for both OnBoard and OnSemble offerings. 15%

Requirements

  • 5- 7 years of relevant experience in partner or alliance marketing, business development, or marketing campaign strategy.
  • Experience with cloud services or SaaS is a must.
  • Experience in working with overseas partners in EMEA and Asia-Pacific
  • Highly analytical with the ability to consume, process and transform large amounts of information into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills and ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete plans.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with great attention to detail; flexibility to accommodate global partners in different time zones
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, comfort with ambiguity, and excellent interpersonal skills with an entrepreneurial spirit and sense of humor
  • Undergraduate degree from top university with outstanding academic performance; MBA a plus

Sales Development Representative

Compensation: Competitive base salary + commission + health benefits

Location: Downtown Lafayette, IN

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Market Response Representative (MRR) you will be responsible for generating interest in Passageways by creating, contacting, and qualifying Marketing-generated leads using the industries best tools. Your goals are directly proportional to the goals of the Account Executive team, which you will be supporting through delivery of high-quality leads who are interested in further exploring our SaaS solutions. The best way to be successful is by exhibiting a ferocious desire to learn, perform, and rise within the team.

Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Description

The Software QA Engineer will be responsible for writing test cases, test scripts and test scenarios, execution of test cases, scripts, and scenarios, using manual and automated testing tools. Types of testing include unit, system/functional, integration, regression, performance, and load testing. The Engineer will also be responsible for identifying, tracking and resolving issues and defects. All testing will be conducted on web, .Net and mobile applications.

Required Skills:

  • Must have at least 5+ years experience with manual and automated testing experience of web, .Net and iOS/Android applications
  • Ideal candidate will have some experience writing automation test scripts and have some experience with an automation tool
  • Experience with writing/executing test plans for manual functional (black box) testing and regression testing
  • Experience assisting gathering and documenting requirements

Description

Passageways is looking for a student or recent graduate intern who is interested in advancing their career in human resources management field. The candidate will be expected to work on a wide range of projects related to HR compliance, recruiting, employee onboarding/orientation, employee benefits and other programs. In this position, the intern will have opportunities to apply skills and knowledge acquired in school in a professional setting. The intern will gain a better understanding of the role that Human Resources can play in the software industry as well as SMB (small and middle size business) and be better prepared to work in the arena of human resources.

Primary Projects:

  1. Recruiting – 50% time

    - Help to develop recruiting and hiring process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting and/or coordinate phone and in-person interviews, support the management making job offers, support conducting background checks

    - Help to develop exit survey to improve employee retention and enhance the recruiting process

  2. Onboarding/Orientation – 20% time

    - Support to streamline onboarding process for each new hire from collecting necessary documents to providing the basic training to be a better Pathfinder

    - Help to develop training programs for a specific job function

  3. HR compliance – 5% time

    - Help the management review and update the HR documents, following federal and local laws and regulations

  4. Employee Benefits and other employee engagement programs – 10% time

    - Streamline the process of payroll, enrollment and termination of employee benefit programs such as health insurance and 401k, troubleshooting employee benefit issues

  5. Performance Management – 10% time

    - Review current performance management system and propose any modification or updates

  6. Engage and manage the 1% charitable giving program at Passageways – 5% time

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in Master’s program at Business School with HR as a major, or recently graudated from Krannert Master's program with HR focus
  • Prior HR experience is preferred
  • Previous experience with APS, Quickbook, Workday and other HR-related software is preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (ex. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

.NET Developer:

Passageways is looking for a .Net Developer to design, modify, develop, write, and implement software applications and components. The position will provide support to an elite team of professionals building intuitive intranet software, developing the Passageways portal framework as well as improving and creating modules.

Essential Functions:

  • Custom .NET application development, as well as maintenance on existing applications.
  • Contribute to development team responsible for implementation of web, JavaScript and services applications. .Net framework, rich JavaScript application frameworks, and SQL Server technologies.
  • Design and create simple, maintainable code and comprehensive tests. 
  • Responsible for timely development and delivery of high-quality software in an Agile Scrum based environment.

You will need:

  • 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft .NET (JAVA experience is welcome)
