Passageways provides active development support to any customer amidst a development project on Passageways. There is also an active online developer forum that allows any developer to connect with other developers and seek help and dicuss ideas within this very targeted audience.
The Passageways portal framework not only provides you a consistent user interface to present data but also provides a set of powerful services which speed development and enable you to send data to people in the organization in a meaningful way. These include the use of alerts so your application could send out an alert to just the front-line staff or only to managers easily, a full subscriptions service, federated search, portal events and more.

| Many modules are available for free to customers (including source code!). Some modules that are available are: modules to connect to Track-It (Help Desk system from Intuit), an RSS News Feed Module to bring in news from nearly any source, and others. |
Developers Listserv Group |
| Customers may sign up their developers for free to a private newsgroup devoted to developing on Passageways. Developers can receive postings from other developers across the country via email and respond back easily! This is an invaluable network created to help organizations share their portal knowledge and code amongst each other. |
Passageways Development Guide |
| Once you become a customer, you have access to the Passageways Development Guide. The guide includes detailed tutorials and descriptions on the concepts, class libraries, module API, portal structure and more. It is written specifically for developers developing on the Passageways Portal Framework. |
