Passageways Chosen as the Portal Provider for the Indiana Credit Union League
West Lafayette, IN. August 15th, 2008 – Passageways, a West Lafayette, Ind.-based portal solutions provider for financial institutions, announced today that the Indiana Credit Union League (ICUL) has chosen Passageways as their portal provider. The ICUL, headquartered in Indianapolis, Ind. becomes Passageways’ first credit union league client.
ICUL President, John McKenzie said Passageways was the obvious choice, "We became familiar with Passageways through Purdue Employees FCU – one of our member credit unions. Passageways was then selected as the portal platform for 'ignite,' a joint venture between the Indiana Credit Union League and Indiana’s credit union. Ignite provides a forum for new idea exchange/implementation, collaboration, and networking. The success of the ignite portal project led to the League adding a separate portal through Passageways for other applications at the board and management levels."
This portal will initially be used by both the League, as well as the League’s wholly owned subsidiary, the ICUL Services Corporation (Servicecorp). Both organizations work under the same roof, president and board of directors. Servicecorp is a credit union-owned cooperative organization that networks the collective business volume of credit unions to offer affordable products and services.
"We are excited about this great partnership and the opportunity at hand. The League and its subsidiary are collaborative organizations by nature and we are excited to facilitate and streamline it using our product suite", say Paroon Chadha, Co-Founder/VP, Passageways.
