There are two delivery formats available for the Passageways Portal Solution.
In-House Solution
The standard in-house solution places the portal on either an existing server or one you purchase new. We can help to recommend the type of server as long as it fits the minimum requirements outlined here. You may also run other applications on the same server if you choose to do so however we strongly recommend that you do not.
Hosted Solution
The hosted solution provides the use of the Passageways software and hosting with a one-time setup fee and an affordable monthly fee. This Application Service Provider (ASP)/Software as a Service (SaaS) solution can serve an unlimited number of users, and supports the use of the Passageways Portal Framework as well as all of the existing Passageways modules (excluding Enterprise Instant Messenger. This hosted solution also allows purchasers to choose the amount of storage space needed, anywhere from 25 to 125 GB.
The following table outlines the additions to the portal framework that are available for the two delivery formats. Modules enhance the overall functionality of the Portal and each of these modules are specific to the financial services industry. Each module comes with its own training guide, embedded help system, development API and of course all the functionality that makes up that module!
Applications are customized solutions developed individually by our Consulting Services team designed specifically for your financial institution. Applications are built to intigrate the portal with any third-party application to streamline your existing business processes creating an easy to use interface for your employees.
