Best Practices Awards - PowWOW 2011
Passageways customers are constantly coming up with new ways of improving collaborative efforts, increasing return on investment (ROI) and raising end-user productivity. Each year PowWOW is the platform for Passageways to shine the light on some of those customers whose Best Practices stand out from the crowd. Looking for ideas to revamp your portal, implement new modules, or just maximize the potential of some old favorites? Come to PowWOW!
All year long we see the creativity in how you utilize your portal. Now is your chance to showcase these best practices to other Passageways customers. This year brings a new format to this favored and much talked about event. Think outside of the box in 2011; enter as many best practices as you wish without the restraints of a category. All Best Practice entries will be recognized for excellence based off of the following criteria:
- Originality/Innovative nature of the feature or practice
- Significance of the feature or practice to ROI
- Quality of deployment
Finalists are given 5-10 minutes to present their Best Practice on the PowWOW stage. Given the limited amount of presentation time, we have provided finalists an opportunity to showcase their best practices with the NEW Best Practice Gallery.
Best Practice Gallery
This year PowWOW is featuring a new area, The Best Practice Gallery. Come mingle with Pathfinders, Previous Best Practice Winners, and Colleagues and enjoy the opportunity to get some hands on experience with this, and previous year’s Best Practices! Take a seat at one of our Portal Stations and have your favorite Best Practice winner or Pathfinder give you a little more personal training on how to work that portal magic like a pro!

Submission Deadlines:

Finalist Selection Process:
All Best Practice Entrants will present to a panel of judges via GoToMeeting during the week of April 18th. Finalists will be notified by April 25th.
Awards:
Trophies and prizes will be awarded at PowWOW. Best Practice winners will be selected by their peers during the conference.
To qualify as a finalist, all presenters must attend PowWOW 2011, represent their best practice during the galleries as well as give a presentation on stage.
