The user island is a "one stop shop" where everyday users interact with the application. Each user has the ability to view required and directed learning, see course-work that has been targeted at them, view courses they have registered for and view what upcoming sessions are available. All information is easy to access and can be sorted to suit the user's needs.
The Management Section
Department supervisors and managers are given many tools to organize and arrange training courses and classes from this island. As a supervisor you will be able to set up tests, modify and view transcripts, add and update courses, create training sessions, and view employee requests such as additions to their transcripts and requests for new training. What is also unique about this application is that managers can help establish career paths for employees to optimize their training each year.
This is the integral island where users will be able to view their current courses and training sessions. The island provides credit details, targeted courses, and registered courses. The majority of collaboration takes place here for the user.

The ability to find courses and training, sort and organize them, and finally register for sessions is handled within this island. If you cannot find the course you are looking for it can be requested in this area as well.
