1) Information Collected
Unless you provide additional information, when you visit web sites operated by Passageways, LLC (“Passageways’ Web Sites”), Passageways collects only the following information:
the domain name and browser you use to access the Internet;
the date and time of your visit;
the pages you visited; and
the address of the web site you visited immediately prior to visiting the Passageways site.
Commonly-used website navigational information (“Website Navigational Information”). Passageways collects Website Navigational Information for statistical purposes and for evaluating the Passageways web site to make it more useful to visitors.
When expressing an interest in obtaining additional information about services provided by Passageways (the “Services”) or registering to use the Services, Passageways requires you to provide personal contact information, such as name, company name, address, phone number, and email address (“Required Contact Information”). You may also be asked to submit additional information (“Optional Information”). When purchasing the Services, we may require you to provide financial qualification and billing information, such as billing name and address, payment information, and the number of employees within the organization that will be using the Services (“Billing Information”). Required Contact Information, Billing Information, and Optional Information about Customers are referred to collectively as “Data About Passageways Customers.”
As you navigate Passageways’ Web Sites, Passageways may also collect Web Site Navigational Information. Web Site Navigational Information includes standard information from your web browser (such as browser type and browser language), your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, and the actions you take on the Passageways’ Web Sites (such as the web pages viewed and the links clicked). Passageways collects Website Navigational Information to track and aggregate non-personal information. For example, Passageways uses IP addresses to monitor the regions from which Customers and visitors navigate the Passageways’ Web Sites. Passageways also collects IP addresses from Customers when they log into the Services as part of the Company’s “Identity Confirmation” and “IP Range Restrictions” security features.
As noted below, in no case does Passageways disclose, give, sell, or transfer any personal information about Passageways’ Web Site visitors unless required for law enforcement or otherwise required by law.
If you send an e-mail message to Passageways or complete a questionnaire, form, or other online survey found on the Passageways’ Web Sites, Passageways will maintain the information in accordance with applicable federal law.
2) Use of Collected Information
Passageways uses Data About Passageways Customers to perform the services requested. For example, if you fill out a “Contact Me” Web form, Passageways will use the information provided to contact you about your interest in the Services. Passageways may also use Data About Passageways Customers for products and event information dissemination purposes.
Passageways uses Website Navigational Information to make interactions with Passageways’ Web Sites easy and meaningful. Passageways also uses Web Site Navigational Information to operate and improve Passageways’ Web Sites. Passageways may also use Web Site Navigational Information alone or in combination with Data About Passageways Customers to provide personalized information about Passageways. Passageways does not disclose, give, sell, or transfer any personal information about Passageways’ Web Site visitors unless required for law enforcement or otherwise required by law.
For site security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, Passageways employs software programs through Purdue Employees Federal Credit Union to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage.
