An international best-selling author, he has significant board and executive leadership experience across multiple disciplines including financial services, technology and healthcare specializing in strategy, strategic communication, board governance, leadership development, customer focus and large-scale change management.
Stuart is the recipient of awards from several prestigious national organizations, including Entrepreneur of the Year Award from Ernst & Young and Inc. Magazine. NACD recognized him as part of The Directorship 100 in both 2011 and 2012 and appointed him to serve on their 17-member Nominating/Governance Advisory Council. Jon is an American Physician and vascular surgeon, business executive and former public official whose past experiences are significant. In his current role, he is on the front lines of COVID-19 testing in N.Y. State and beyond. He is frequently called by CNBC and significant media outlets as an expert on current testing protocols.
Jon is well recognized in the diagnostics industry having served for nearly a decade as one of the five executive officers for Quest Diagnostics.
Previously, he served as Chief Policy Advisor for Governor David Paterson and for six years as Chief Medical Officer for Northwell Health. Jon has an extensive background in federal and state healthcare policy and speaks regularly on health and healthcare issues. In 2010, he was named as one the nation’s top 50 most powerful physician executives by Modern Healthcare. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed professional articles and authored two books.
